Importing Metadata: No metching media pool

I am a new user to DR and I am so embarrassed to ask such a basic question. But since I couldn't find a clear solution online or via this forum so I thought I would just ask. I used Exiftool to extract metadata from my cameras (Canon 77D, iPhone and Sony A7iii) and saved three csv files in under the same folder paths where I store the footage in my drive. In DR, I imported the clips to the media pool in three bins designated for each camera. The csv files are all named after the models of the camera e.g. Canon 77D.csv. Then, when I tried to import those csv files following the DR manual instruction, I just kept getting this message "no matching media pool entries were found".
I tried all options available in the dialogue box, but none of them worked. I also tried to save several csv files by following the clips' names of the footage and it was totally a time-wasting, stupid attempt cuz I soon realised DR wouldn't have made such a straightforward process so exhausting. I also tried to relaunch the software but nothing changed. I think I've tried everything I could as a beginner. I would like to know what I did wrong.
