Apologies, I posted a similar query last week and followed the recommendations but have ended up back where started. I have a mix of BRAW and .mov files (some DLog-M (10 bit) and some 8bit from Nikon D810. I followed Jim Simon recommendation of using ACES which is great for the BRAW but this really compresses the .mov data into a small range on the x axis of curves making it very difficult to grade. So I'm back to using YRGB Color Managed with Output tone mapping set to luminance mapping and Output Gamma mapping set to Saturation. But now the clips on the timeline have the shadow area clipped at around 60. If I switch to just YRGB or ACES the shadow clipping is removed. I can't figure out what is clipping the shadows in YRGB Color Managed.
