Resolve Speed Editor Keyboard: High pitched ringing normal?

Hi Everyone,

I just got my Speed Editor keyboard, which is all very exciting.

However, tapping the keys result in a high pitched tone that is very resonant, and is a little too distracting.

I'd love to share an example I recorded, but apparently I'm not allowed to include URLs when submitting this report.

I own mechanical keyboards, and none have been so, ummm 'musical' and distracting.

Wondering if this is normal for these keyboards?

Thanks,
Eliot Fitzroy.

Hey Eliot,

My SE doesnt do high pitched sounds. So it seems to be damaged in a way. Does the Sound come fromm the Keys itself?

Thanks very much for your reply! The ringing seems to emanate from the frame itself. Almost as if some dampening elements are not there, so key presses reverberate and generates a fairly loud ringing noise that is annoying. There is no damage at all to the unit.

It is really strange that I'm not allowed to either attach a sample clip, or link to one hosted on Youtube on this forum! Would demonstrate the issue much better than I can explain via text. Happy to DM a link to sample clip on Youtube that demonstrates the issue more clearly.

You can post a link with spaces in the path.
It does sound however like a faulty unit as they should be quiet.
Post a phone recording if you like or just contact your reseller.
