Clickin on a gap in an audio track selects multiple elements

PostWed Jan 20, 2021 12:46 am

When I click in the gap in an audio track DR somehow selects not only this gap but also multiple elements (clips, other gaps) before and after this gap. These elements becomes a slightly more grey but are not marked with a red frame. If I klick on the backspace key, all "selected" elements are deleted.
Is this a feature which I'm not aware of? How can I avoid this behaviour of DR? It is not a general behaviour in all timelines of my project. I've the impression, that only larger timelines are affected.

Additional information: I observe this effect in the cut and the edit window, but not in the fairlight window.

I can't duplicate this in Studio 17b7 for Windows.

Post up the steps to reproduce.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Thanks, Jim. I really wish I could post the steps, but I can't. (We are using Version 17.0B Build 18 under Windows 10.)

Yes, it's gone in the meantime. I have no clue why.
