The fastest way to explain it is to show it, so here is the screen recording.

I'm just trying to bump this thread because it only has 91 views and with the speed the new threads appear, there are no chances developers saw it. But this is VERY important.

That looks like the revolver error in quantel 10 years ago: Thebes it happened when the corrections pass the "360/0" phase mark.

It could be similar

Thank you for your try to fix it, BM, but seems this is even worse now.
(I limited blacks below LogC black just to show, that the artifacts aren't because of impossible colors for LogC)

Could you just make this LMS thing optional and let global wheel to be just a multiply (gain) in linear gamma without converting it to LMS color space until you find a way to fix the artifacts with (i guess) negative values? I'm ok with the fact that touching pivot kills everything below black level, but it's also destroying the colors now. Probably this will also be gone if you give us an option (in settings, not per node) to disable LMS for HDR wheels.

And also it's impossible to select rec709 (scene) as the input color space for clips. It just doesn't work.

And also ST2084 in DaVinci Color Managed is brighter compared to correct transformation in Color Space Transform. Of course I disabled all the DRT things.

And also Canon Cinema Gamut still has wrong white point in Color Space Transform.

Same here.
I use DaVinci color management, and it is excellent. But HDR rings produce nasty artifacts.
