Resolve 17 b7 Unable to resize windows in Dual Screen Mode

Resolve 17 Beta 7 running on Catalina 10.15.7
In Dual Screen Mode on the EDIT page, I cannot drag to resize the relationship between the VIEWER and TIMELINE windows.
If I switch to "Full Screen Timeline", the altered layout does allow for proper resizing of the VIEWER windows.
Likewise with Single Screen Mode, resizing works properly.

This may be a Mac thing as in Windows using the mouse scroll wheel, resizing works the same in single, dual, and full screen timeline modes.

I just realized you might have meant that the scroll wheel correctly resizes the
zoom percentage of the footage inside the viewer. There's no problem with that—what I'm experiencing is an inability to drag the divider in between the TIMELINE and the VIEWER windows. Like if i need more room to work in the TIMELINE then I should be able to drag the divider up, making more space on the TIMELINE while shrinking the VIEWER.

Now I understand. Not had a problem in Windows with the dividers in either single or dual screen. Both dividers work as they should. This has been the case as long as I can remember.

Thank you for your response, seems like it must be a Windows thing as you suggested. I've tried to attach a screen recording of what happens for me, hopefully it's clickable:

Would you please verify for me that you activated
Dual Screen Mode to check this? I don't mean simply enabling the both the
Timeline and
Source viewer windows at once, I am talking about the option found in menu under
Workspace > Dual Screen > On

I work in dual screen all the time. I sometimes show the single screen view for clarity and also to match what most people are using.
These are my screens.

Thank you Charles for the confirmation. Hopefully BMD sees this and fixes the issue for Mac users. It's hard for me to work in the single screen mode!

I posted a link to a screen recording of what I experience, I believe I try to drag both the upper and lower divider in that example. Is what I demonstrate in that clip what you mean by the upper divider? Or al i missing something obvious?

SOLUTION:
I had to click to enable a second timeline window, then delete it. Something about that action woke Resolve up and it remembered that the dividers can be dragged to resize!
