Davinci Resolve installation issues

Hi Blackmagic, I'm a total video novice and I want to try out the Davinci Resolve for some light video editing so I downloaded the non-Studio version 16 and installed it on my Windows 10 system. However the Blackmagic Design group only has icons for Blackmagic RAW Player, Blackmagic RAW Speed Test, DaVinci Resolve Panels, Fairlight Panel Setup, and Fairlight Studio Utility.

Looking in my Windows app list there's only Blackmagic RAW Common Components, DaVinci Resolve Keyboards, DaVinci Resolve Panels, and Fairlight Studio Utility.

There's no sign of the main Resolve program, am I missing an installation step?

Thanks.

You sure you installed the right .exe? What was it named?

Can you find resolve.exe in "C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve"?
If you can pin it to your start menu or taskbar.

A quicker way is to open the start menu then just start typing 'resolve' (without quotes) - it should appear amongst other options.

I've seen this happen myself.
