Hi,
I have a very frustrating thing happening in Resolve 17. I shot RED RAW with a RODE WirelessGo for audio, then have done my usual adjustments in Mixers EQ, Dynamics and a little Noise Reduction. I have set things to normalize just under 0 DB and it sounds amazing inside of Resolve.
When I have exported it, the audio sounds much thinner and it is about 8DB quieter than inside of Resolve. I checked inside other editing programs and their tools show that it is 8DB less. I have put that same clip back into Resolve and on a technical level, it matches perfect with the un-exported clip. The exported clip also sounds perfect inside of Resolve, but no other program...
I have tried tons of things to get it to work right. I have changed that audio track type to things like mono. I have tried every export setting for audio it seems, nothing has changed. I think it is bypassing my audio adjustments in Mixer and maybe just applying noise reduction.
If anyone can help, that would be awesome, I really needed this clip sent out to my boss for our company site.
I have attached some screenshots of settings and the exported clip put back into Resolve, next to the original (which looks the same).
