The Project Server app is only for PostgreSQL databases.
It will not show your Disk databases. When you install Resolve on a system, that will create a default Disk database, but not any PostgreSQL databases. In that scenario, if you opened the Project Server app, you would not see anything. But you still have at least one Disk database, and that's likely where the projects are.
If you select a PostgreSQL database in the Project Server app, you can't do things with projects there. You can SEE projects, but you can't load or export or import projects in the Project Server app.
You have to use the Resolve app Project Manager page to do things like that.
What form is your project on the separate hard drive? As a Project Export .drp file? If so, you should be able to drag that into either type of database, on the Resolve Project Manager page. But not in the Project Server app.
