Greetings,
I'm using DaVinci Resolve Studio v17 (beta 6) and I have noticed that when I enter full-screen mode my scopes, which are on my second monitor, disappear. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
Thanks in advance for any and all help!
Cheers,
Rip

I don't see that happening with 17b7 on Mac.
See if beta 7 has the issue on your system. If it does, give us your system details.

Yes, this recurring problem is still there in Windows. If I click on anything in the main window behind the floating one, it will disappear behind it. The floating picture window in Fairlight behaves the same way. This does not happen if the floating window is on your primary display. It also does not happen with plug-in windows.

Greetings Dwaine,
Thank you for getting back to me. I did just recently download the latest beta (Studio) version of Resolve 17 and tried this again, yet my scopes are still disappearing when I punch the full-screen viewer button on my panel (or go full-screen from within the software UI).
I honestly can't think of a more important time to be able to keep an eye on my scopes than when I'm zoomed in full-screen usually trying to tweak small details.
Here is a quick snapshot of my system information:

Hi Dwaine,
I just downloaded DRS v17 beta eight and checked again to see if my scopes disappear when I go to full-screen mode and indeed they still do.
One very important point I failed to mention previously is that this only happens when in the color tab. It does not happen when I am in the edit tab (unfortunately) as if it happened there I wouldn't really be needing the scopes so much but it seems to be only happening in an area where I do need my scopes. I hope this extra information might help lead to a solution.
Thanks again for all of your help and assistance with this very important problem.
Best regards,
Rip Noel

In rechecking this, I also see it happening, even on Mac. Not sure why I thought it was working on Mac previously.
I've reported it to the dev team.

Great Dwaine!
Also, just FYI, one other productivity hit I am seeing on PCs is my inability to copy and paste raw video settings. We are moving toward shooting exclusively on Blackmagic cameras and it would be so helpful if I were able to copy and paste raw settings from one clip to another. I do know that I was able to do this in version 16 but I haven't been able to do this in any of the version 17 beta releases, as of yet.
Possibly, how to accomplish this may have changed. If so, I would be grateful if you could please share the procedure with me or point me to the appropriate documentation.
Otherwise, please also report this to the dev team if you can reproduce it there on your end.
Thanks a lot Dwaine. I can't tell you how much we all appreciate your team's hard work and all the incredible software and camera products Blackmagic Design is producing!
Cheers,
Rip

Copying RAW settings works for me in 17.
Right click in an empty area of the Gallery, and make sure Preserve Cam Raw Settings is not checked.

Hi Dwaine,
That took care of it... THANKS A MILLION! If I can ever assist you with any testing please reach out. I have worked previously in closed beta groups including assisting Adobe in that capacity for many years.
Cheers!

Beta 8:
On Color page, select scopes and move scopes window to second monitor: Full view closes scope window.
Leave Full view, scopes reappear. Then change to Edit page, scopes still up. Now changing to Full view, the scopes still stay up.... A bit inconvenient having to leave the Color page to have simultanous display of Full view and scopes on second monitor.
