I'm in the U.S and the only authorized resellers that seem to have any activation keys in stock are a small handful of international stores (Europe, New Zealand etc).

I called one of the international resellers to confirm availability but during the call they advised not buying their key, as activation may not work due to possibly being region locked? The sales associate was honest however and admitted he was not certain of this.

I searched this forum but was unable to find the answer. I understand there is a delay with the Speed Editor promotion, however I am in increasingly desperate need of just an activation key for 2 new systems.

Is there any issue purchasing activation keys from Black Magic listed resellers who are based internationally, and activating elsewhere?

I would hope not, as that would create a serious issue for producers of travel videos.

Just closing out my question in case its helpful for others in the future.

Activation keys are not region specific.

I ended up purchasing the key from an Australian reseller and had no issues activating my 2 systems in the U.S.
