Hello this is Mike I recently purchased the Speed Editor for my desktop
my desktop doesn't have Bluetooth support so I tried a dongle I have lying around from dlink model number DBT-120. In my research I found out after installing 17 beta it doesn't recognize it without being plugged in via USB. it shows in other devices in the Bluetooth list but doesn't work. I will research some more dongles and hopefully get one that works. On a good note my PC laptop worked right out the box dell lattitude e7270. If this helps someone I hope please leave some feedback on your experience hoping to iron out this for the community.

Have you fully charged the Speed Editor via the USB-C connector? What is the status shown on the Bluetooth listing? Is it Connected or just paired? What does it show as the battery level percentage?

Sometimes the keyboard seems not to wake up when Resolve starts. Try tapping some of the keys. Do any of the LEDs in the keycaps light up?

Yes I had it plugged in over night
so on my laptop with bluetooth it shows the device with battery as Davinci Keyboard connected
the desktop only works usb the Dongle doesn't see it so i'm thinking to try a different dongle

my laptop has an intel bluetooth card Intel 8260/7265/3165 Bluetooth
so I may try and find a solution I think its a mkey

I googled the BT dongle you listed, DBT-120. It appears to be too old to support the Speed Editor. The Device Manager in Windows indicates that the Speed Editor use BLE which most likely needs a recent BT dongle. The DBT-120 came out in 2009!

I picked up a dongle at Best Buy that worked, https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-b ... Id=4884001

It was only $14.99.

Update
I had to search around for drivers and will post the name of the driver as soon as I can
But once I found the driver it worked
I’m looking into other dongles that can work
Will update on that soon

Cheers stay safe
