Can't get rid of black lines around all jpegs

Why is Resolve putting a black line around all my still images?

Where are these black lines coming from as they are NOT in the image.

Doesn't make any sense to me.

We're in the middle of a documentary project where they used quite a few JPEGs as graphic elements here and there, some composited over backgrounds. I just went in and adjusted Crop in the Inspector to fit the image itself and avoid the surrounding area. I never looked to see if there was an edge or not, because we were matching the editor's decisions for the conform.

For a lot of reasons, JPEGs are not ideal for post, and we usually ask for high-res TIFFs or PNGs whenever possible. But... it's not always possible.

What version of Resolve are you using?

I can confirm this “black edges on JPG”-bug...
DR17 with all beta versions up to b7.

OK. What happens if you crop it (even 1 pixel) as I suggested?

OK.

There is a separate forum for reporting those bugs.
