How do I make my workspace larger?

I just got DaVinci Resolve. Unfortunately, the workspace is tiny. The program fills the screen, but the widgets and words are so small, I can hardly read them. I'm trying to work with it, but it's SO hard to see what I'm doing. I need to fix this.

I am a super novice, so know that most terminology goes over my head, but if one of you would be nice enough to help me out, I will follow your advice best I can.

To make the on-screen elements larger, you'll need a physically larger monitor.

What size screen are you working on?
If you hover your curser over the border lines arrowed,
Cut Page Workspace.jpg

it will change to this symbol.

Click and hold down the mouse button. You can now move these borders to give you more space. This can be applied to other borders as well. You really do need a decent size screen for Resolve though. I run two 23" monitors for working dual screen.

If I were you I'd adjust your screen resolution to something lower. That looks like a QHD monitor or thereabouts. Reduce the res in your OS to 1080 and see if it helps you. You'll prob need to jump back and forth as I think Windows compensates for higher res screens by increasing font size etc in other areas.

I'm glad I decided on 32" QHD instead of 27". It's perfect for Resolve. No, its not too big.

Ditto.
