Subtitle selecting odd behaviour - selects video tracks too
With subtitles, there is what I believe is intended behaviour, but could be a bug, but which I would think should not be the intended behaviour.
If you use the mouse to select subtitles by clicking and dragging a selection box over the subtitles, and there are video tracks that you can't see under them*, then the video tracks will be selected too. This causes unexpected behaviour, as unseen video tracks are selected, so when you move the subtitles, the video tracks also move.
*To clarify what I mean by "under them": I mean that, say you have 10 video tracks, but only tracks 1-4 are visible on your screen, then tracks 5-10 will fall under the visible subtitle tracks. You can't see them on your screen, but, if you could see through the subtitle tracks, you would see them below.
I would suggest that video tracks should not be selected in this manner when you are clicking and dragging a selection box over the subtitles, or, if that is intended, then maybe we could get a modifier key to hold while clicking and dragging, so that only the relevant space's items are selected (subtitle, video, or audio, as desired).
This is in Resolve 16.2.7.
