BUG REPORT: Cannot select input device other than default
The same for me:
software version: 17 beta
symptopms:
In Fairlight on the right side of the screen threre is a mixer. The mixer has an "input" field for each track. When I press the "INPUT" button it opens the window where I can patch input to the track.
First problem is that this window is extremely non intuitive. It is even very hard to guess which button state is 'selected' and which 'unselected'. Also instead of drag/drop or lines drawn between connected devices there is some convoluted logic for the patching.
However there is another problem, more serious: you cannot choose any other input device except for the one and only which is earlier selected in Windows as the default audio input device. All other programms (including simple Audacity) have ability to choose the input device. In davinci you have to choose it otherwise it will not work, but you have only one choice. Which does not make much sense.
