C200 Clips wont play / Media Offline?

I have some c200 footage that I filmed on my friend's camera today.

I've transferred all the files onto my desktop and when I go to load them from the media tab I get the error saying Media Offline... but the media is on my desktop.

I have tried loading it straight from the SD card and the same thing.

i sent a clip to my friend through File Share and he was able to download it and load it into DR no problem.

I was on V 16.2 and then I thought if I upgrade to 17 Beta it would help but... no dice.

Can anyone think of any reason why this isn't playing on my computer?

Maybe they are recorded in a format that is only decompressed with the studio version

If the extension you recorded is mxf.. you can only open them with the studio version.
