Hi everyone,
I'm still quite new to DaVinci Resolve, so please don't eat me if I am not providing a perfect problem description on the first shot.
I have installed DR 17.0B Build 23 on my Windows 10 machine and MacBook Pro 2018 with MacOSX Big Sur. On both platforms, I experience the same issue:
I have recorded a "Let's Play" - Twitch-Session using OBS for 2 hours, resulting in 13 GB MKV Footage. Using OBS "Remux", I remuxed it to MP4 in order to be able to be loaded into DR, which works.
In my Windows 10 box, I have 580 GB of free SSD storage and on my MacBook, there is 230 GB.
Now to the issue: When I click "Generate Optimized Media" for that 13 GB video file, it starts to render the media, but after several hours of rendering, it crashes due to a filled up HDD.
Does someone have an Idea what causes this?
