3D Image...problem???
Posted: Sun Jan 24, 2021 4:36 pmI have a Sony Dev-5 which creates stereoscopic video coding in a MP4 (264) container. Yet when I bring the video into Resolve, it does not allow me to use the 3D tools...why?

Posted: Tue Jan 26, 2021 12:53 amI don’t know for sure, so you may ignore this if you want, but I think the 3D tools are meant to be used with separate L and R video files. Have you checked the manual yet?

Posted: Sun Feb 28, 2021 3:00 pmThe 3D only works with L/R channels as mentioned. I was hoping for single file operations. Sony has really crappy software to split the channels which prevents me from accessing all of the files I have with ease. I now take the left channel with software from PegaSys which can work in batch mode. Now I just have multiple files laying around...but I dare not delete the originals.
