Do your 50, 59.94 or 60 timelines run at correct speed?

PostMon Jan 25, 2021 9:12 am

Hi

This is a follow up topic from an earlier thread, "Davinci 17 Bug: Double playback speed - solved".

I have installed v17, and every timeline I make in 50, 59.94 or 60 fps runs over double speed, so that the nominal seconds on the timeline last about 0.4 seconds.

I have tried everything and cannot solve it, and I have had much advice on the forum, but none has been successful.

I would like to find out if this is a bug in the software or something wrong with my setup.

So I am asking the members of the forum - have you been able to make 50, 59.94 or 60 fps timelines that run in version 17 at the correct speed?

Many thanks!

Never had a clip speed problem with any version of Resolve. Version 17 happily running 50fps clips here.
What GPU do you have and what driver version are you using?
Resolve Studio 19.1.3 build 7
Dell XPS 8700 i7-4790, 24GB RAM, 2 x Evo SSDs, GTX1060/6GB (572.16 Studio Driver), Win10 Home, Speed Editor, Faderport 1, Calibrated Eizo ColorEdge CS230 + BenQ & Samsung monitors for UI, Canon C100mk2, Zoom H2n.

Working fine here in Studio 17b7 for Windows.

What's the source of your media?
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
