Lens Data Burn in?

PostMon Jan 25, 2021 4:20 pm

Hi there,

is there any chance to get lens data (lens type, focal length, aperture) burn into the video output?
I have a pretty huge project and the client want's to include some information about the lens used for the shoot.
And I DON'T WANNA build a text layer for each of the 1327 clips in the timeline :-(

Thanks
Pete

Those parameters are not included with the Burn-In feature. You'll have to add them manually.

(Or maybe by script, but I don't know anything about that.)
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Would be a great idea to add that, now that BM is reading lens data in their cameras.
But as a workaround, I'd use an existing field and put the data there when shooting. Still less work than doing it in post.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
