Failure to activate Resolve Studio

Hi,

I've purchased Resolve Studio by activation code. I have installed and tried to activate but get an error message. I have contacted support, but I need to use the software urgently, like in the next couple of hours. So I need a fast fix.

Is this a common problem and how do I solve it?

If the issue lies with the activation servers, you'll have to wait for Support to handle it.

(One of the reasons I prefer the dongle.)

Same problem here. There's another post on the forum from earlier today with other people experiencing the same issue. Seems to be server-side.

I wanted a dongle but was sent a code. So I'm generally unhappy about it at the moment.

Install the free version until they get your problem sorted. Matching version numbers will have compatible databases. Just remember to do complete uninstalls when changing between free and Studio.

I had the same issue since this afternoon, but works for me now. Seems they have fixed it.

Yeah, that happened to me, too. And B&H had some ridiculous hoops for me to jump through as a remedy.

I got lucky. Blackmagic handled it for me directly.

Thanks for the replies. It's working now. I guess a problem with the servers.
