If the software will [literally] stop working on specific drivers after an update, it's probably a good idea to actually put it in the patch notes.
Unless I missed something - and, frankly, I don't care enough to use the forums for much of anything (I am not going thread-hunting); I just read the in-app patch notes - this was not listed anywhere.
