Camera Raw Issue

PostMon Jan 25, 2021 11:20 pm

The project I'm editing has locked it's camera raw setting in the nodes and in the preview. But when I render, it puts out the ISO that's selected.

Example: If I have a shot at 2000 ISO and change it to 5000 ISO, nothing happens in the preview or nodes. But once I render, it renders at 5000 ISO.

I am color transforming the clips, so the problem started somewhere in that process, but it seems to either be something I have selected or deselected, or a bug in the system. I'm leaning more towards a bug because I've copied the files to another project, but they do the same thing.

Grab a still of your node graph and show your output render settings.

What version of Resolve are you using? What source material? What CPU? What GPU? What format are you rendering to?

I don't make a ton of changes in the Camera Raw pallet, but I do make a few, usually ISO, Exposure, and Color Temperature, and so far those have reacted correctly in both playback and in the render. This is with Red Raw, Sony MXF Raw, Canon Raw, and Blackmagic Raw.

Optimized media, proxy modes, node caches could be the culprit. I've had the experience of them not refreshing after making changes.

They can be purged by turning them off (not auto) and/or doing something that triggers a refresh. If I'm not mistaken, unless you've ticked the box, rendering starts from scratch so it gives you the actual raw settings you have entered.
