Proxies - relinking to original files

I just upgraded to studio version of 17 this morning and was getting playback lag On a timeline that was running smooth prior to upgrading.

I thought I would try proxies so I went through the process of creating proxies (1080pmov to 720mp4) and forgot to export the audio on the main file so I have no audio. I want to relink to the original files.

Relinking hasn't worked
Changing source folder hasn't worked

And the original files are not in the media bin anymore as well

I'm assuming there's a simple solution to this but I am at the end of my knowledge.
