Hi There!
Do not know wether this is a bug or feature request, or maybe something that might show up as configurable.
I make vlog for YT and often select just part of a video from a BRoll clip and use that elsewhere on the time line. I might leave the original clip there, as I will want to use other parts elsewhere.
BUT...
When I am zoomed in on the section I am working at, I often use the 'select everything to the right' short-cut so I can create more space, or move all to the left. But if a part of a clip that is now on the right also has a part to the left it also gets selected. And if I move all clips, also this part with has been placed there in my edit gets moved, without me realizing as I do not see it.
This is something being totally overlooked by me, as this shortcut is great help in fast editing. And with a weekly vlog, speed is very important for me.
Could this be fixed somehow? Maybe a warning if I select everything to the right that a popup says 'be warned, there is also content to the left of the playhead selected'?
Or am I simply moving that clip in the wrong way?
Thanks so much!
Attachment shows part of a clip selected to the left of my playhead.
