Hi there,
the BMDPanelDeamon, what is it good for and for which panels is it needed?
Should it always run in the background (MacOs)?

Scripts (/Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/configure-panel.sh) seem to indicate that it should be started by /Library/LaunchAgents. But I'm not sure about this.

Any ideas?

true, but is it necessary for all three panels? Or just the mini and the advanced panels?
