Resolve 16.1.2 runs fine, but 16.2.8 won't open

Resolve 16.1.2 runs fine, but 16.2.8 won't open

I've been trying to update Resolve to 16.2.8, but it doesn't seem to want to open at all. Downgrading by re-installing 16.1.2 will allow 16.1.2 to open. Our PostgreSQL server is currently on v10.15.

This is on a Mac, v10.15.6. The server is Linux based I believe.

Open Finder and navigate to /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve and run CaptureLogs.

You may see an error message pop up if you are on Big Sur or Catalina. You can ignore that.

A Resolve logs file will be created on your Desktop. Send that file.
