Using the HDR controls I am grading many short clips. In the zones panel the blue line in the histogram shows I have deep shadows but the line falls to zero before it reaches them thus excluding them from appearing in the video.
So I go to the Black zone, raise the blue line at that point to include them and up pops the missing shadows on my monitor. That's fine so I continue.
I will usually make several different zone adjustments in a single node except for when I want try out additional adjustments that I am not sure will work out. So to avoid messing up my grade so far I will do them in a new serial node which I can toggle off and on to compare the before and after results in the histogram.
Except this seems impossible? Once a new node is created and selected, the histogram now only show the original ungraded view. ???
I took some screenshots to show this and put them together in a single image (attached).
Is this how it works, just me or a bug?
