multi cam clip attributes

I created some multi cam clips but I forgot to change the original files so that the audio plays on both sides. (What I should have done is right moused on the clip -> clip attributes -> under source channel set both sides to the embedded channel 1. ) In any case, having created the Multicam clips before setting the correct clip attributes the audio only plays out of one side. I have gone to the original clips bin and adjusted the original clips but it has no affect on the Multicam clips. Is there any way out of this other than to start from scratch?
thx,
David Berg

Right click on the segment of the Multicam clip>Open in Timeline. That will give you access to the original clips, where you can right click>Clip Attributes...

Thanks Jim. Once I open the timeline for the Multicam clip how do I close that timeline and go back to the main timeline? I am able to go back to the main timeline right by shutting down Davinci and relaunching but there must be a simpler way.... ok I found the solution. I'm leaving the question here tho in case anyone else runs into this. The solution is to click file -> close current timeline

Bottom left of the interface.
Or if Stacked Timelines is on, just close the Multicam tab.

Another related question: We shot our two actors simultaneously and mic-ed both of them. I created one Multicam clip with the two angles When I switch the audio so that the one actor's mic is used it turns all the edits for the other actor to the wrong mic. I suppose I should have created a second, duplicate Multicam timeline with each timeline using a different mic but I've already done the edit. Hope this makes sense. Any ideas?

Here's how I would approach this.
Don't include any separate audio files in the Multicam, use only camera media.
Once you have the Multicam in your timeline, add the usable audio under the Multicam clip and Mute the Multicam audio track. Set the Multicam to switch only the picture.
Cut the Multicam picture, ignoring audio for now.
Refine the Multicam picture cuts as needed.
Cut the audio. (Later, you can mix the audio in Fairlight. For now, just cut.)
