Dynamic Project Switching crashed

PostTue Jan 26, 2021 11:34 pm

Hey there, not sure if this is just something with this version or also previous versions of Resolve, but I've had a couple hard shutdowns (no warning just instant power off) when using the Dynamic Project Switching. That being said, I've also successfully used it on occasion too. For me, the first time enabling works fine, but once I've two projects loaded and either attempt an additional project or even shut DPS off, I will sometimes get that hard shutdown. Neither project I'm copying to or from is not more than 15 minutes, so its not even a large project.

i see alot of sys ram in use when useing dynamic switching, often to the 70+ gig range for Resolve alone

maybe monitor sys ram when useing this?

i have 128g so not a real concern for me, but if i only had 64g i imagine it could be a problem...
