Data burn in Source timecode shows topmost video layer only?

PostWed Jan 27, 2021 8:58 am

In the Record viewer we have a few options including record timecode and source timecode.

The source timecode reflects the top most layer.

Similarly the Data burn in 'source timecode' only shows the topmost layer.

Is there a way of viewing lower layer source timecodes or do I need to put this in feature requests?

(in Avid you get the choice of which source video / audio track you want to view - with 2 spots in the record monitor and multiples in the timecode window and the timecode burn in effect).

In the menu for the Timeline Viewer, enable Show Timecode Overlays. This will give you the Source Timecode for every track when playback is paused.

I couldn't find a way to achieve the same with Burn-In.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
