I was able to get my Ultrastudio Monitor 3G to work today. You will need a 40gbps thunderbolt 3 cable for it to work. 20gbps may work, but I have a 40gbps. I first, held the power button upon boot to enable boot options, click options. Click utilities/startup security utility. Click security policy and change the security level to reduced security and check both boxes for user and remote management for kernel extensions. Rebooted, uninstall Blackmagic desktop video if you have installed it. Open security in preferences and unlock it to have it ready for authorization of Blackmagic . Install or do clean reinstall. You’ll then be asked to authorize Blackmagic and there’s the magic! Open desktop video.
