Visual Glitch in Fusion with mask

PostWed Jan 27, 2021 11:39 pm

I've just created a relatively simple mask wipe effect in DR(S) 17 beta 7 and noticed a glitch during playback in DR/Fusion (see attached)

Currently using NVIDIA Studio Driver 461.40 with an RTX 2080Ti

No idea if it is driver, DR, or anything else but wanted to document before I started more debugging

If anyone has any ideas / suggestions, I'm open to them :)

I don't know what it's supposed to look like, so...

Got it.

Now the node tree?

I get the feeling we're playing 20 questions ... :( (so I'll try and answer a few potentials in advance)

Node tree

The mask is a basic wipe with a bunch of keyframes moving a power window across from right to left .. nothing fancy ... it was supposed to be a quick, gimmicky video for a friend

FYI since I quit and restarted DR the weird "corruption" went away ...

Maybe the noise reduction (default settings) ... maybe something else .. I don't know (hence my asking here for input/guidance)

What I don't have are debug logs while the corruption was in place .. and as I say, restarting seems to have solved it ... this time

I'm also seeing clips randomly going "offline" (multiple projects, all GoPro footage) when I leave DR idle for a while (1h+), even though they're visible when I mouse over ... again, they show as available if I restart DR (they seem to be h.265 the last time I saw this, not sure if they're always h.265 or sometimes also h.264)

This is all on Studio 17.0 beta 7 on Windows
