A newbie to Resolve having problems pasting a clip in the timeline.
I have copied a 5 second long clip (a still shot) from my timeline at 3:15 & want to paste it at 2:00, where I have a 5 second gap, however for some reason Resolve inserts it at 7:20. Don't know why it has picked there to do it, it's not the end of the sequence & no logic that I can see. I have set the playhead to the 2:00 minute mark & also the 2:05 but it still inserts it at 7:20. I've also tried selecting the clip before & after but still the same result. I have tried pasting as a straight paste & also Paste Insert. There are no effects or anything on the clip, it's just a still shot. In frustration I've re-grabbed the clip from my media pool & placed it that way but is there some trick to what I'm trying to do?
