I need a better way to access lanes in the multicam clips.
I have 3rd party audio ( sound devices ) and 3x cams.
Putting the audio records on a regular timeline gies me all 8 tracks with the names that came from the bag recorder.
When I create a mutlicam, it puts that same monophonic 8 track audio in as an adaptive track.
Once edited into a timeline there is no way of drilling down to mute or adjusting volume or one of the lanes in an audio angle on a multicam. It will only adjust the whole angle. But we need to keep all the lanes for audio mix later.
Solution #1 :
In audio portion of inspector, or by a right click list option, allow me to mute or adjust level of lanes inside the audio angle.
Solution #2 ( I think I prefer this one ) :
Allow the option in making a multicam to put the separate monophonic or poly tracks as audio angles that are selectable by change audio angle. Just how it puts all the tracks if i insert it directly on a timeline, and retains the names from the audio recorder for the audio angles.
Solution #3:
-drill down, by opening the clip in timeline, being able to edit the lanes ( volume or mute ) and then breadcrumbs to back out to the original sequence.
Currently the work around is duplicate the audio angle/track, open clip properties, make mono, select desired track in the list, repeat for each track needing separate adjustment. disable the original. This is SUPER cumbersome for hundreds of clips on a timeline.
Or we commit the multicam, match frame the original audio and overwrite the tracks with the original multi track audio - then I can edit each or disable. But this is even more time consuming.
