Colour correction or fusion work first

Hi there I have heard mixed reviews on which to do first, colour correction fist then my animation in fusion, or the other way around.

I was told to do all my animation in fusion first, render it out and then do all my colour after that, but when I do, some colours on some layers act strange and don’t look like I want.

So do I do all colour correction first, render that out then bring it back into a new project, then do the fusion work, then render that all out, then bring it back again into another project to then do my letter boxing and adjusting for composition?,

I have waisted too much time of my life on this project already would really appreciate some clarity thanks

I tend to use the pages in the order they're presented.

Media>Edit>Fusion>Color>Fairlight>Deliver.

But it's possible a specific case may work better changing that sequence. (Though I'm not sure I'd be doing all the exporting re-importing you're doing. Why that?)

Same here. I don't export stuff, just basically work across the tabs. Especially with v17 (still in beta) where you can render in place, etc, if it's a matter of performance. If you export/import you have to worry more about colorspaces, etc.
