How to move Patch Replacer Window?

I think, the Patch Replacer is a great tool (one I use to clean up a shot). But I have a problem:
It is very hard to move the source window when it is very small. (Mostly I need it to remove sensor dust, which is very small) As long as the source box is a square, I can move the window, but when it gets smaller, no matter where I grab it, it only changes its size. There might be a special technique to do that.
I move the box to the dust, there I shrink it to the size I need, but then I might need to adjust the position a bit, but the only way I can move it, make the box bigger again, but then it will be very difficult to place it exact at the dust.
