I was doing editing in DR 17.0b Build 23 when i received these 2 messages, one on top of the other. I have attached them. If you need me to do anything, please let me know.
Then while writing this report, i received 2 more messages as i can't seem to shut down DR normal way. I have attached those also.

Here is the 4th as i can only attach 3 at a time.

Does the drive location you have saved for backups have enough drive space left?

It is a 2tb drive using only 400gb.

When i started up today i received another error. I have attached. This time it starts having problems telling me media offline. However, there is no media, only some text+ titling. No media involved that i see.

Bob there's a lot of information missing for anyone to help you troubleshoot.
Tell us what system you're using (PC/Mac) and any hardware or software plugins you may be using.

Also, this looks and sounds like the database has become corrupted. What I would do is make a backup of both your project files and, the current Davinci database, there are detailed instructions in the manual and here on the forum.

After both have been copied and saved, delete your installation of DR completely. There is a built-in removal tool within DR installer however, even so you'll need to manually scan for remnants (this occurs both PC and Mac) to fully get DR off your system and cleaned up.

Make sure you copy both the database AND the projects to an external drive, or a drive that is not connected to your system, otherwise when you reinstall DR it will find and re-attach those old files.

Then do some routine cleanup on your system, how and what will depend on which platform you have. You want to make sure you don't have something in the core of your OS that might be causing DR to malfunction.

Then do a clean install of DR and try a test project to see if things go sideways again. If it's stable then try importing one of your project files. If things stay stable then your old database was corrupted. Once a DB becomes corrupt there's no fixing it, you have to start fresh.

See if that helps; others may have other or better troubleshooting to offer once we know what system setup you have.

Once you get things cleaned up and stable make it a habit to make backups of both your DR database and project files, so that if this happens again you can get back to work right away.

I have a feeling I know what may be causing this and other weird issues I have been having with the Beta version.

I was getting frustrated to the point of thinking of going back to DR16. Not only was I have multiple odd issues but the fans on my laptop (purchased back in Spring '20, 64Gig Ram, Intel I9, Windows 10 and terabytes of disk space on 4 drives - drivers kept up to date) were going crazy, hardly ever turning off.
Right before I gave up I decided to try something that i had heard a while back.

I changed an option.
Playback ->Timeline Proxy Mode->Quarter Resolution from Off

Have not had a freeze or abend and i can barely hear the fans. So, take it for what it's worth.

In this little world it is all good again.

Is the database on an ExFat formatted drive? If so, that doesn't work.

It will need to be on an NTFS or HFS+ formatted drive.
