17b7 crash generating optimized media

17b7 is having a really rough time with my R3D media. Did not have these problems with 17b6.

Probably a bug. If you want to stick to 17, use a proxy workflow instead.

Hi Michael,

We do not see this issue here on similar hardware. Can you please check if this is specific to a project/media that you have? Maybe provide a link to a project with media which can easily show this.

I'll see about trimming the R3D media down to something manageable (seems to happen within the first few minutes of a 30 minute clip). In the meantime, I saw a *POOF* style crash and so included a logfile for that in the same directory, and I've exported the project file, in case that's helpful.

I tried shrinking the clip, which did not reproduce the problem. I then went back to the project and tried again, and this time optimizing the media files worked with no crashes.
