What kind of artifacts? What should we look for when testing?

Whoa, that is bad. Have you tried Beta 8 (just out today)?

Yes, it was not a fun way to end my commercial session with my clients.

It turned into a big zoom call to discuss what was happening and how to solve problem.

Had to turn sharpness off to complete the job.

UPDATE: Just tested sharpness in a Feature I'm grading in R17 shot with Arri Raw and sharpness was fine, in both HD & 4KUHD timeline settings.

Could this problem be specific to a certain camera such as the Canon? That still wouldn't be correct, if that was true.

I didn't see any issue when testing with my own media. (Pocket ProRes.)

I don't have any Canon media.

Turns out it's not about the media. I made a prores4444 of the same canon clip and it showed the same problem when you turned the project into 4K UHD from it's initial HD setting.

I sent BMD a sample clip and project file, instructed them to watch what happens when setting the project into 4KUHD, but they have not yet reported on what their finding was on this issue.

Maybe a mac issue. Or an AMD issue. (I don't use either.)

No, it's not that. The BM team is looking into it.
