I have stereo MOV files and when I import to Davinci resolve 16 to edit, I check the clip attributes and the format is MONO.

I'm not sure Resolve is capable of doing that, so I question the claim that the file is stereo.

What makes you think it is?

Im new to this whole video edit thing and what I understand is that for stereo, I am able to hear audio from both left and right. Please guide me on this. When I import the files for edit, the audio was change because I am now hearing from left only.

OK.

As a new user, your first course of action should be to complete some Resolve training. The Beginner's Guide and Advanced Editing are an excellent groundwork to get you moving smoothly. ;)
