14 Shown as in-stock now,
BUT:The "Seller" (SolidSignal) who answered the Q&As regarding the included dongle in that "Available from these sellers" Amazon listing is different from the seller (Focus Camera LLC) who claims to have inventory. It appears to be a common listing with multiple sub-sellers, so results are relatively unpredictable. And SolidSignal no longer appears in the available vendors, so I assume they're out of stock now.
That said, Focus Camera's listing is for the Speed Editor only at a gouge price of $306.93 (US) with a listed estimated delivery date of Feb 17-19.
(I take that back - As I was typing this, Focus camera raised the price to $319.93 and launched a second listing for the same 14 units at $358.93!!)They also have another listing
for the bundle at a gouge price of $391.84 now, instead of the above mentioned $349. That bundle has no apparent ship date.
Focus Camera appears to be playing BS games with constantly changing prices (they're still changing as I edit this...) making me wonder if they even have the SEs at all, or if they're pawning off possibly used units they/someone purchased earlier, reboxing and selling them now to make a quick buck on the situation.
NFTYAVL Gear (another seller on the same listing mentioned above with Focus Camera's original) had a gouge price of $490
+ $25 shipping and a ship date of mid-to-late March (as if...)
So, maybe the results are more predictable - pay a much higher price to wait in line like everyone else... No thanks.
Add me to the list of very disappointed people with BMD's all but total lack of communication on this situation. As someone who already has Adobe Suite and an older version of Avid MC; I'm considering freeing my unit up and defecting from the ranks of Resolve overall due to this. Like many others here, I understand a supply or quality issue with the physical device being handled before being able to ship the SEs but I'd
really at least like to get my 17 Studio code so that I can start using the full-featured (beta) version at a minimum...
If the plan is to wait until 17 goes GA to ship any of these; as long as it's historically taken BMD to move Resove/Fusion from Beta to GA - I'm out.
