Error checking for updates on DR Studio 17

Hi,
I have Davinci Resolve Studio 17 Build 27 on a Linux system.
When I click on menu "Davinci Resolve - Check for Updates", I get this error:

My Internet connection is working fine.
It used to happen also with Davinci Resolve Studio 16.
Any idea?

I click on "Create Diagnostic Logs on Desktop" from Help menu but the logs are not on the Desktop, I do not where they were created.
