Change Clip Frame Rate without changing speed

I'm trying to create a very particular effect. I want to take my 24 fps footage, and play it back at 6fps, but in realtime. If I go under Clip Attributes and choose 6fps, the clip becomes longer. I want it to drop the unnecessary frames instead. Is that even possible? I haven't found anything online and can't figure it out myself. Thanks everyone!
