DaVinci Resolve 17 Public Beta 8 for Apple M1 processors

PostWed Feb 03, 2021 11:04 am

Today I downloaded and try to install DaVinci Resolve 17 Public Beta 8 for Macs running Apple M1 processors with a dongle, It's asking me to enter the Activation Code. Is this version is not compatible with M1 processors.

It is 17b8 (for Intel Macs), not 17.1b8 (for M1 Macs) so it is not compatible with the dongle on M1 Macs.
I'd guess that like b7 we will have to wait a couple of more days for 17.1b8.

Yep, we have to be patient.
