resolve 17 and Radeon RX 5600 XT - fancy issues...

Hi,

I just installed my new system with following parts:
- ASUS ROG Strix X570-E
- AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
- 64 GB RAM
- AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT

and running Windows 10 with all possible Updates and the new 17b8 of resolve.


When working in premiere everything is fine - when running resolve....fancy things are happaning.

When I open a project and go to the timeline in edit-window, I have to wait some minutes until I will see the actual frame. Hitting play in this time will not change the "black" Monitor Window.
After the "waiting time" I can use it normaly...
...exept sometimes when I do some edits, I have again to wait for the actual frame, but not as long as on the start of the program.

2nd thing is:
I have two monitors and I alsway using the dual screen option in resolve. When I click on dual screen on, the second monitor goes black...and that's it....resolve freezes and nothing will ever happen.

Anyone an idea?

Yes, it's AMD thing, probably OpenCL related.
I wait seconds max 10-15 with rx 580 but all you ppl with rdna GPUs seem to wait quite a bit longer.

The Workspace Dual Screen Problem is solved with the new AMD Driver for my Card.

Version 21.2.1 from 27.01.2021
