Free way to remove lavalier rustling/scratching

Hello, I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a free way (if it is possible) to remove some scratching and rustling from a lavalier microphone using Da Vinci Resolve/Fairlight. The only thing I found from searching the forums is izotope rx8 but that has a hefty cost (not doing professional work) and was hoping there was another way. Thanks in advance.
