As soon as I installed Beta 8 and loaded a project that had cropped video, the cropping didn't work correctly.
I see the entire shot, masked back with a white cast, and the cropped area clean. Even when I render the clip out it does this to cropped video. Going back to Beta 7 for now.

Yeah, a lot of folks are reporting this.

Same Problem here with Beta 8, but only when using Softness.
Instead of fading to transparent, the "Softness" fades to white.

Yep. Cropping in b8 is a hot mess. Back to b7 for now:)
