PostThu Feb 04, 2021 8:46 am

Editing a 1080 video, on my MacBook pro 16 inch from late 2019 i9, 32GB RAM Radeon 5500M 4GB RAM is not using GPU resources. CPU tops.

What do you see in DR's preferences?
If on "Auto", set it to the right GPU (you have two) and to "Metal" explicitly.
To check GPU activity, it helps to open the "GPU history" window.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Studio 19.1.3
MacOS 13.7.4, 2017 iMac, 32 GB, Radeon Pro 580 + eGPU
MacBook M1 Pro, 16 GPU cores, 32 GB RAM, MacOS 14.7.2
